How to wash:
- Remove Solids:Remove any solid waste from the diaper and drop it in the toilet.
- Pre-wash (Optional):Run a pre-wash cycle with cold water and no detergent. It can help loosen soil and reduce the chance of staining.
- Main Wash:Use a warm or hot water cycle (40°C to 60°C is recommended) with a cloth diaper-safe detergent. Use the longest cycle available for thorough cleaning.
- Rinse:Run an extra rinse cycle to ensure all detergent is removed.
- Dry:Hang the diapers to dry or use a dryer
Additional Tips:
- Storage:
Store dirty diapers in a dry pail or waterproof bag to prevent Odors and mess.
- Detergent:
Use a detergent specifically designed for cloth diapers, as regular detergents can contain residue that can irritate sensitive skin.
- Water Softener:
If your water is hard, consider adding a water softener or increasing the amount of detergent to ensure effective cleaning.
- Avoid Extreme Temperatures:
Avoid washing diapers in cold water or using ultra-hot cycles, as these can damage the fabric.
